MECU has a new  online banking system.

MECU just launched a system upgrade to our Online Banking, Mobile App, Bill Pay, and Remote Deposit Capture! This upgrade will resulting in a new, improved, and easier banking experience for you!

Learn more about the upgrade by reviewing answers to some questions you may have:

Will the credit union be open during the upgrade? No. All of our banking services will be down. Please read further regarding specific product availability time frames.

Do I need to re-enroll in Online Banking? Yes. You will need to re-enroll as a new user. Great news, you will be able to re-enroll with the Mobile App.

During the upgrade, can I use Online Banking? No. The link to Online Banking will be unavailable starting at 4 p.m. CST on Friday, March 31, 2023. Our NEW Online Banking will be available at 8:30 a.m. CST on Monday, April 3, 2023. 

During the upgrade, can I use the Mobile App? No. The link to download the current Mobile App on our website will be deactivated on Friday, March 24, 2023. The current Mobile App will also be unavailable starting at 4 p.m. CST on Friday, March 31, 2023. Our NEW Mobile App will be available for download at 8:30 a.m. CST on Monday, April 3, 2023. You will need to delete our current Mobile App and download our new Mobile App to do your mobile banking.

Can I access my account during the upgrade? No. You will not have access to your account(s).

Will I have access to the Service Centers during the upgrade? No. Services will not be available for MECU members.

Will I be able to use ATMs? You will be able to use ATMs for your transactions during the upgrade. You’ll be able to make unlimited deposits and limited ATM withdrawals.

Is there a change to point-of-sale transaction limits? Yes. During this upgrade and starting at 2:00 a.m. on Friday, March 31, 2023, you will have limits on the amount you have access to each day. Once the upgrade is complete, Wednesday, April 5, 2023, regular point-of-sale transaction limits will apply.

Will I be able to have my limit increased for POS or ATM? No. There will be no limit increases starting at 2:00 a.m. on Friday, March 31, 2023, through 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2023.

Will the Bill Pay service be available during the upgrade? No, Bill Pay will NOT be available for changes on March 27, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. Bill Pay WILL be available for use at 8:00 a.m. CST on Monday, April 3, 2023.

Will I need to set up my Bill Pay accounts again? No, we will be converting those over to the new Bill Pay system. However, you may need to set up some of your E-Bills. After the upgrade, please verify your bill pay payees.

Will I need to add back my PopMoney and Account to Account Transfer(A2A) payments? Yes, we are not able to convert or set them up for you.

What if my bill payment is scheduled during the upgrade? Your scheduled bill payment will go out: Bills with a pay date of March 31, 2023, will be sent out on March 31, 2023. Bills with a pay date of April 1 through April 3, 2023, will be sent on April 3, 2023.

If I can’t pay my bills online, what are my other options? You can pay by cash or check.

Will any late fees be waived if I can’t pay my bills during the upgrade? No. We are notifying you in advance so that you can make necessary adjustments.

Will I still be able to view my E-Statements after the upgrade? No, please download your previous e-statements and save or print them. You will be issued a paper statement for March 2023. You may request a statement copy for a fee. E-Statements will resume April 2023.

What will be new? You will now have access to:

  • Savvy Money- a credit score-tracking tool
  • Mint- a budget tracker & planner
