A 3% balance transfer fee applies to MECU Rewards VISA. No fee for Platinum cards.

MECU VISA® Rewards or Platinum card 0% on balance transfers. Transfer balances to your MECU Rewards or Platinum Visa card between April 1, 2025, through June 30, 2025, and receive an introductory rate of 0% APR on the transferred balance for the first 12 months. There is a 3% balance transfer fee on the Rewards card and no balance transfer fee on the Platinum card. Rates will revert to the normal card rate if the balance is not paid off after the first 12 months. APR ranges will vary based on card type and are determined by your Cardholder Agreement.
Transfers cannot be used to pay off existing MECU consumer and business loans that are not credit cards. The maximum amount that can be transferred or charged is based on the approved card limit and any applicable fees or restrictions. The Standard card rate will apply if the account becomes delinquent or if payments are returned. For further details about terms or conditions on your account, please refer to your Cardholder Agreement. MECU is not responsible for late payments on your other issuer’s account(s) and we are not able to close your other accounts even if you transfer the entire balance. Balance transfers can take up to 7 to 10 days to process. MECU reserves the right to decline balance transfers. Call (405) 813-5550 with questions or for more details.
